Hello, my name is Grace, and in about ten years or so you'll be buying my premortem biographies where they'll be flying off the shelves like Harry Potter on a Summoning Charm spree. Just kidding.

YouTube edited its layout, now I can't have the 300+ by 200+ videos anymore D: they were the most versatile! Given, I could use a calculator and do some chim maths to figure out new proportions and then edit it in HTML, but I'm too lazy. :D

Went to the tailor's today to collect my dress- it's my Confirmation dress, altered, and it looks much better now even though I still don't like the material (Thai silk- I think it's too... heavy, and stiff, and I prefer silk/chiffon/stuff like that, y'know). I think I blogged about it already so I shan't describe it anymore, but if I can I'll take a picture of it and post it here. Or maybe I'll wait until National Day, when I'll wear it, and then I'll post a picture of Sher and I camwhoring in the toilet or something. LOL!

We were supposed to go home after that, because it was nearly lunch, but after some pouting and begging (ROFL) my mother relented and agreed to take me to Platinum ("One level ONLY!"). I really wanted to buy a Chanel-esque quilted bag, but did you know how expensive they all are?? I wanted a medium-sized version, preferably with a leather strap on the chain so it'd be more comfy, but I didn't find the latter and all the formers were almost 500 baht, which is like 20-25 SGD.

    So we ended up buying:

    1. A very light coffee-coloured Chanel bag, small. (It looked nicer than white.) It has gold chain details but no leather strap. 350 baht.
    2. Two skinny belts, one yellow and one white, for 150 baht each. (It's gonna be my new It Accessory for HS! I now have four: pink, white, yellow and grey; surprisingly I have scarves to match all of them.)
    3. A thick brown belt, with vintage gold buckles- it's very rustic, my mother loved it too so even though it was 200 baht we agreed to buy it. (We're gonna share it, so that makes it theoretically 100 baht each, right???? Chick math ;D)
    4. Along the roadside- a B&W checked sleeveless tunic, with a grey vest to match, all for 150 baht! (We were going to buy another blazer, cos the ones they had there were really pretty, but my mother saw this combo and decided it was more worth it.)

We ALMOST bought a pair of wedges -it was BEAUTIFUL, dark brown leather, in a Huarache-meets-gladiator style, and a zip at the back- for 390 baht but the brown version only had size 40 left and I was somewhere between a 38 and 39. (I KNOW I should've convinced my mother that size 40 was best for "growing space" but it didn't hit me then. I KNOW, okay? I KNOW. *sobs*)

We also saw a jumpsuit at the very last minute that even my mother liked -she pointed it out- but the salesperson wasn't very interested in us and my mother was in a rush to get home. You know what happens: she fingers the fabric, looks at it about ten times and then says, "Aiyoh, buy so much already must go home liao, Daddy's waiting!" and we depart.

    Oh well.

I was going to say something here, but I can't really remember what it is, so. I'm going to the doctor's in about half an hour for a follow-up to my op. I'm gonna ask him when it's okay to wear make-up, cos I've abstained for like more than an entire semester already and I'm desperate to try my new silver eyeliner from SilkyGirl that I bought way back in Singapore.

Found this site, BTW: http://quote-book.tumblr.com It's cute :)
